Job Description: Technical Sales Engineer
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be part of the Sales & Marketing team, consisting of eight colleagues, each with their own area of expertise.
In this role, you will focus on sales processes for large-scale AV and I(C)T projects onboard superyachts, covering both new builds and refits.
Your Responsibilities
This position offers a dynamic mix of technical, creative, and commercial tasks.
- Technical & Creative
- Translate customer needs into technical designs, including hardware and services, while maintaining ONEXP’s quality standards.
- Leverage your expertise and creative approach to design high-end systems that exceed client expectations.
- Collaborate with AV and IT specialists to develop the best solutions when needed.
- Commercial
- Prepare calculations and proposals, ensuring clients clearly understand the offered solutions and their benefits.
- Act as the primary contact for client inquiries and proposal clarifications, maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Contribute to an optimal client experience and uphold ONEXP’s high-quality service standards.
- Staying Up-to-Date
- Keep track of the latest technological advancements, new products, and innovations in AV and ICT.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Professional education level (mbo / hbo), preferably with a degree in Electrical Engineering, ICT, Technical Business Administration, or Media Technology.
- Passion for AV and ICT technology, with the ability to lead discussions and find the right solutions.
- Strong commercial skills, including the ability to independently create calculations and proposals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented, client-focused, and strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
